My biggest joy is riding motorcycles.  One of the many things wonderful about riding is that I can enjoy my passion on the way to and from work.  Over the years, I have figured out ways to stay warm riding in the winter, at least a 20-40 mile ride even at 20 degrees.  Now that spring is springing, it almost feels odd to ride without putting on the Gerbings heated liner. 

My job includes lobbying the Virginia General Assembly.  My employer rents an office space in a government building adjacent to the Capitol.  On the bike, I can park right beside the entrance door to the building.  No walking 8 blocks from our parking garage.
